Best Paper Award
The NYUAD Center for Smart Engineering Materials will be sponsoring this year's best paper award competition. All accepted papers are automatically considered for this award. The winning authors will receive a certificate + a monetary award ($1500) that will be divided among all authors participating in the paper.

Best Paper Competition
Using Smart Materials for Energy Harvesting: The NYUAD Center for Smart Engineering Materials will be sponsoring a best paper award on the use of Smart Materials for Energy Harvesting. Any paper which involves the use of smart materials as a transduction element for energy harvesting can be considered. Authors, who wish for their papers to be considered for this award, must submit their full paper to info@powermems.org by October 15th, 2023 (Please use e-mail title: Best Paper Competition: Using Smart Materials for Energy Harvesting). Papers will be reviewed by a committee of experts in the field and submissions will be ranked. The winning authors will receive a monetary award ($1500) that will be divided among all authors participating in the paper.

Student Best Paper Competition
The Journal Micromachines (MDPI) will be sponsoring a student best paper award. Authors who wish for their papers to be considered for this award, must submit to info@powermems.org by October 15th, 2023 a full paper and a letter from their mentor stating that the work was completed while the main author is still a student (Please use e-mail title: Student Best Paper Competition). The student must also present his/her work in the conference. The winning student will receive a monetary award ($700).
